five friday favorites :: inspiration

it's friday - thank goodness! have you been as messed up with the time change as i have? this week has been a whirlwind of insanity. i actually took my boys to school an hour early today - completely unaware of what time it actually was. my 8-year-old looked at me like i had totally lost it. i guess i sorta have... but hey, i now have a weekend to recover!

amongst the insanity, i have been perusing a few events, stories and items. here are my five friday faves:

• i'm so intrigued by 3D printing. i'll definately be hitting this up sometime soon.
• i want to wake up tomorrow, clean my house and then make this. i think i'll just lie around and breath in the scent of fall for the rest of the day!
• as you know, last week was halloween.  i fell completely in love with dear prudence when i read her response to this letter. so great.
• have a husband, son, best friend birthday coming up? i think these are awesome for our bearded boys.
• and lastly, a sobering look at lockdown drills at school.
