woodland wrapping paper :: diy

tired of the same ol' wrapping paper selection?! i am. there are only so many birthdays, baby showers, weddings and graduations that i can wrap in rainbow colors with a touch of neon. AND, don't even get me started on the gift bags.

for a friend's baby gift, i decided enough is enough and made my own paper! so easy!

here's how:

you'll need:

  • a roll of project paper (found at any hobby store)
  • stamps
  • ink

the DIY details:
  1. unroll your paper so that the outside is up. (meaning, you don't want to stamp on the inside of the wrapping and then not be able to see it once wrapped up!)
  2. stamp you design, i choose woodland animals, however simple shapes like triangles or circles can be combined to make any sort of pattern.
  3. wrap & go!

i promise you'll win most creative wrapping. and the receiver will be touched to see the effort you put into the presentation. so... go on then, get to stamping & wrapping! xo
