man on the moon lamp :: diy

as promised, i have a super fun DIY to share today! it's so cute i can hardly take it. question: do you see the man on the moon? ...on the real moon, i mean. i do, but believe it or not, i know people who just can't see him. maybe they need this lamp!

supplies:

• sphere lamp. this one is from ikea, but i've seen them at random other places as well. start keeping an eye out and i bet one will pop up for you!
• gray, cream, and pink acrylic paint
• sponge
• small paint brush
• black permanent marker

the DIY details:

1. begin by mixing some gray & cream paint together. this will tone down the gray.
2. using a sponge apply the paint all over your sphere. let dry.
3. now, paint circles for the blushing cheeks with your pink paint. let dry.
4. draw your face with the black marker
5. light up & enjoy!
