you'll need:
- (6) 1 x 2 wood boards
- a drill & drill bit
- thick twine
- fabric scraps
- hot glue gun & glue
- clothespins (optional)
the DIY:
- begin by drilling a hole on one end, about 4 or 5 inches down
- tie your twine through one board hole & knot
- grab another board and begin weaving & twisting twine around them
- gradually add your boards in your teepee shape, while wrapping each with the twine
- once you have your support, it's time to add fabric!
- i first wrapped my fabric & held in place with clothespins to make sure i like the way it looked
- i then began gluing each piece to the wood boards.
- it's fun to bunch & layer your fabric as well. use the glue plentifully. your fabric will serve as a support for your teepee as well, so you'll want to make sure it's on the wood securely.
- climb in your teepee with a pillow & enjoy!
