garland of leaves :: kiddo project

happy friday friends! plans for the weekend? here's a fun project for the kiddos: make a garland of leaves! as fall approaches (even though the temps don't tell us as much), i like to bring a little outside in for decor. my boys and i created this fun garland the other evening and they had a blast! (please ignore my ugly brass fireplace)

steps:

1. collect leaves of choice. try to find mostly flat, smooth leaves for easier drawing
2. use a white pen or marker to draw names and designs on your leaves
3. string up with a needle & thread (be gentle)
4. hang up and enjoy!
